OUR VISION: Light Up Pulaski

Over the next 5 years, we will pursue 50,000 kingdom-minded connections and conversations in the Pulaski County area to see people come to Jesus and grow in him.

In Matthew 5, Jesus told his followers that they are to be lights in a dark world. Around 60 years ago, Beacon Hill was founded to be a beacon of hope to Pulaski County. 60 years later, this is still our mission. In July 2025, during our Vision Sunday and 60th Anniversary Celebration, Pastor GJ introduced this 5-year vision to our church that will begin in 2026.

Our Vision is focused on the Mission.

Our vision isn’t centered on a new building or a new program. While those tools can be helpful and necessary at times, they aren’t the focus—they exist to support something greater. Our vision is laser-focused on fulfilling the mission God has given us: to see people come to Jesus and help them grow in him. Everything else serves that purpose.

We believe the Lord still has many for us to reach.

In Acts 18:10, the Lord tells Paul in a vision that there are still many people in the city for him to reach. We believe the same is true for us today. We can’t settle for a lesser mission, like seeing our work as short-term or measuring success by weekly attendance. Our vision is a constant reminder that God still has people in our community who need to be reached with the hope of Jesus.

Why 50,000?

This is a God-sized goal that is going to take all of us working together.

50,000 may just seem like a number.
But every number is a name, and every name has a story.

As we continue to reach out to those around us who need Jesus, we believe God will continue working in people's hearts, just as He did in April's.
